Clown being too aggressive while trying to feed anemone!

My tomato is pretty rough on the anemone and while I was trying to feed the BTA today, she kept diving in knocking out the silverside. Its really annoying b/c I have to keeping picking the silverside back up and try to get it in while distracting the clown. Anyone else have this problem?

That is quite normal. There are two current threads going on about this type of behavior.

Its a pretty big clown for a small anemone, plus that piece of silverside is too large for the size of anemone IMHO.

the anemone when opened up is about 5-7 inches. The anemone was about 10 inches when I bought it but just split so its not like I bought it that small. The size of the silverside wouldn't really matter anyway. The clown does it with the smaller pieces too.

Can you cover the nem with a stawberry basket while it eats? My clown has been doing this once in a while also. But mine actually pulls it out of the mouth of the nem. I'm afraid it's going to injure the nem. So I'm going to try to start covering it while it eats.
