Clownfish hide INSIDE nem ?

Hello,
Gees, I got a green 6 inch LT nem with 3 pink clownfish. We couldn't find the CF and the nem detached from under a rock. Wife saw a CF swim out of the nem mouth. Anyone ever experience that? Totally wild.

Years ago I scored a pair of clarki this way, bought a Sebae/Crispa from petco, a clarki swam inside the mouth.
The petco employee said "oh he just ate that fish, guess you got a freshly fed nem"
I said I'll take the other clarki in that tank too, and I rushed home fast as I could, hoping the clarki may come out of the nem.
It did, but it was really jacked up like it was being digested, but it eventually healed and recovered.
The two clarki's paired up, had them for years and had the crispa for 5.5 years

Great story. Now we both have a story. One of the CF does look a little digested, fins worn down. It's been about 4 hours n they all look good. The nem looks better now than when he was in the store. Fully opened up. I put coral n sand around him but he liked at aching to a rock instead. Guess he didn't read he supposed to like deep sand, lol.

Several clownfish species tent to go into the mouth of anemones (to the detriment of the anemones). Clarkii and Polymnus being two of these clowns. Polymnus being most aggressive in digging into the anemones, especially anemones that are under stress.

Thanks for the info, great hearing from you as you are well regarded nem guy.
The foot looked great the color and overall appearance looked good. The mouth was slightly open. LFS guy saw the tank was newly setup? Guess they know better don't do better. So I brought nem home. Seems good so far. I put rock border around it and build up the sand. Hard to tell if it attached to the glass. It's not attached to the rock anymore that I can tell. It's not floating or loose so Im crossing my fingers that it's ok. We'll see. ...gotta learn how to post pics. Anything else I should look for?
