Concrete's 120 Tech, 200g system in the works

bbehring- I'll try pushing around 800gph from my return & another 4200gph from 2 Sureflo MJmods.

Here's a pic of my temporary holding facility.. Waiting on some bulkheads for my tank, that's why I haven't set it up yet...

Jeff - looks great. Looks like you're other nut came in :D
Nick - you next?

Terry-

Yes-sir, I feel whole again ;)

I know the cables are strong as hell, just scares me seeing the light just hang there on those weeny things.

I hear ya Jeff. Same here. Always wondering when it's gonna pull out and fall into the tank and electrocute me?

Terry- I think your rubbing off on me. I've decided to return my 2x 6055's and go with 2x 6101's instead... I would like to mount them on the back wall, but don't think thats going to work well with a ssb.

I'll probably do it old-school & mount 1 on each end of the tank..

what about mounting on the back wall, tucked up in the corner, and angled toward the center of the front glass?

i am going to try avoiding a stream in my new tank but there are not many options for 1 inch.

in a small tank 3-4ft they take up a ton of real estate.

why not do what FishTruck did, and build yourself some rock islands with eggcrate built in with the tunze hardware mounted in. his tunzes are completely hidden within the rockwork and can be easily removed etc...

i'm going to try it! basically need base rock, pond foam, eggcrate, some pvc (to add rigid support) and some expoxy resin to glue sand onto the foam.
