you can flip the holder upside down and put a tie strap to hold it together. That will make them set more level

Got all the fish/corals in tonight- Tank is up & running. I have a few more things to do yet- Enlarge hole in sump for bigger bulkhead, Get my Frag tank on-line, Install the new pump, get calcium reactor online, etc.etc.

lol like I said in tbones thread... i am optimizing content for the xbox right now. every time I make serious changes I have to run a utility that recompiles all the files in a way that makes the xbox digest things more easily before I can measure what a difference I've made this can take up to 30 minutes and during this time nobody better give me crap for browsing the web, since my 8 core supercomputer grinds to a halt... RC barely even runs!! lol
we call this "cooking" and I try to limit it to only a couple times per day... man I wish it was instant though! I could get way more done if it were.

im super happy right now... we just hit a huge deadline and next week is officially off crunch!!! :bum: :bum: :rollface: :smokin: for how long tho I dont know.....

Yes! That is a Mag Float w/ eggcrate- I put it together w/ duct tape
I just threw everything in there last night, might get the corals organized & glued today..

I just saw some gameplay footage of gta-IV.. Looks friggin cool, can't wait to get that one, I heard there is already a warez for it.

That's only 2 bulbs, my dusk/dawn lighting-Giesemann Actinic & ATI Procolor?? (white in color)...

With "All on" It is alot less purple, more white than anything.

This is "all on" (need to lower the light some) I need to adjust the white balance on my camera me thinks..

the coloration of that lighting spread is cool... hot white in the middle and more saturated on the edges.

what i really love about 'pillars' aquascaping is how it ends up creating lots of interesting shadows and more overall contrast and variation in color throughout the reef.


dude...... duct tape your frag rack onto a conch snail.... that would be freakin sweet....

why dont you just add a frag tank to your system? the tank looks great besides the frag rack that looks really out of place.

Frag Tank is off line right now, waiting on my fabricator to make the hole in the sump larger to accommodate the 2-5/8" bulk-head for my Reeflo Tarpon.

That ugly frag-rack is just temporary, I just threw everything in there until I could get it glued/epoxied down.

no, not acclimating.. just had it jacked up so I could get in the tank easier...

i really love how when you carjack somebody they might come back to try to retake it from you heheheh. graphics are pretty cool too... its impressive how theyve handled the reflections on all the cars in such a big world

Concrete, tank looks fantastic. I've been seriously considering a 120 Tech tank for my upcoming build. Whatever the size tank I do, I'm convinced I want to use a single, or multiple Powermodule fixtures.

I was actually going to ask you if you thought the 6 bulb was sufficient...and whether you would have gone with more bulbs.

You answered my question already in the above post, but our response really surprises me. Those ATI's are supposed to put out more PAR and be more efficient than pretty much any other T5 fixture barring the high end Itallian makes. When I saw your pics I said to myself...damn...that's a BOATLOAD of light on that tank....and the fixture is WAY off the water.....

So now I'm confused...MORE bulbs?
