Condylactus nem's

I think that they are very pretty.. But most clown fish books say that they are not a clownfish host.

That doesn't mean clowns will not host in them, and you can give it a try. but at the same time i have heard that they can sting a clownfish pretty bad.

they are inexpensive, and very hardy. I guess you could give it a try, doesn't work out give it to a LFS

Also, if you print out pictures of Clowns hosting in anemone's and put them on your tank, inabout a week, with the pics, and the anemone, your clowns may host.

Its worked for me.

They are from the Atlantic where there are no anemones, so they are not natural clownfish hosts. They may accept the clowns, but at some point may also eat them, to them fish are food, not friends :) It's a gamble you take. If you're really attached to your clowns it's not a risk I would take. That's just my 2cents though :)

Before I "knew" any better, I bought a condy for my clown. In an hour, they were best friends. I'm glad I didn't research it, lol. I hear I am very lucky!

He liked it enough I had to get him a second one. He loves them both equally :D

My 16" (not kidding) 5 yr old Condy hosts my clarkii. I can't ever remember being stung by this one, but I don't try to touch it either.

I have a thread running on why I can't get my pics to post. When I get this figured out I'll ressurect this thread and post a pic. This pic thing just started, but even if I have to switch from photobucket to something else, I'll get it done.

You can try saltbucket.com if you get to that point. I'm sure there are others, I just don't know their names. Good luck!
