John's (Copps) reef tank is equally fitting for the SPS forum as the Reef Fish forum, but I think the RCers in these parts would be more appreciative of the dense stocking of Pomacanthids.

Copps ripped out some corals due to overgrowth since it was photographed by Julian for the French translation of Angelfishes of the World (above), but it's still a sight to see. Check it out: http://vimeo.com/13564370

Are none of those angels known to be coral eaters? I've not kept an angel before but I was always under the impression that they're almost all reef-iffy at the very least, if not outright destructive.

That was awesome!!! I love the music too, a little French Rap goes great with Angels.....Who knew!

Thanks for sharing.

WONDERFUL! Thank you for sharing the video. It's amazing how quick all that food disappears lol

Chasekwe- What some people do and what's recommended to the average hobbiest are totally different. Johns skills in care and morphology put him on a small list of what I would consider experts. So in response to your question, yes many angels can be destructive to a reef. All fish are different and no two alike. Angels are not for the faint of heart; for some the risk is worth the reward as seen in the video :)

well Angels are not necessarily reef safe, but in a tank like this where things are growing and adding girth/weight quickly, the occasional nip from an Angel does not really affect the SPS corals.

Of course, ample feeding helps too ;)

Whew, with that music I almost thought that was going to be a porn video! LOL
Beautiful as always.

Matthew
