SEARCH ENGINE PEOPLE!!! :) :)

Although I did find out a new victor, the hard way :(

Echinophyllia vs. Echinophora?

Echinophyllia... by a wide margin. :D
Wasn't bad looking when I separated the two, but w/in a week, the Echinophora was just a skeleton.

Yikes Mac - it's funny how the tougher looking corals usually are in fact tougher. Hope that wasn't a prize piece.

SEARCH ENGINE PEOPLE!!!

Don't think I didn't try! Of course after I knew the thread title it was much easier to find :) thanks James.

Anyone have experience with Fungia vs: zoos, rics (think I read Fungia wins here), or shrooms (Rhodactis). How about Fungia vs. Clams?

green bubble

green bubble

Green bubble vs everything else in my tanks...'cept my bada*s black clown......green bubble the winner(its sweepers look like cephlopod arms)....look out green bubble here comes clownie. That farging clown has killed 4 plates and a scolymia:mad: ..........Steve:dance:

That reminds me.

Caulastrea frag fell into a Ricordia yuma, Caulastrea was dead in less than an hour.

One special orange Monti d from the old Lonestar coral company kills all the other Monti d's if it touches. I sometimes wonder if it isn't some kind of Porites, as my two other orange Montis play nice with other Monti d's.

Plate Monti vs Hydnophora = Hydnophora injected the creeping death which spread across the whole plate.

I keep all my softies in a big jumble. They really don't mess with each other except attempting to crowd.
Only exception, the Capnella burns back other softies.

My original (from Mustang) and heavily fragged piece of the Blue Chalice. :(
Fortunately, I had another piece growing out somewhere's.
Guess it'll be a while before that coral makes any trades for me, assuming there's still a market. ;)

I've got an impending battle but may move a piece to prevent it.

Any guesses on
Pink Stylophora vs. LT powder blue A. Millepora?

Funny you should mention that...

Green Hairy Mille vs. the Green/brown Stylo that's floating around our parts... kinda has been a draw so far. They're both winning battles, but the war's about 50-50.
A nice little detente...

Harry Shroom vs Hammer

Harry Shroom vs Hammer

Perhaps the shroom was from Puerto Rico, but it kicked some serious hammer butt. They came in contact during a recent tank move. I figured the shroom would drop and relocate, but instead the hammer heads touching it shriveled and died in a day.

Very pretty green/purple branching hammer. Fortunately, other heads survived.

Palythoa sp. vs. mushrooms = mushrooms

WoW! That's surprising. I know 'shrooms are tough, but Palythoa can kill you and me w/ their toxin, you'd think a lowly mushroom wouldn't be giving it any trouble! Be careful fragging those polyps off...

Corals vs. sand= sand wins ;)

I hate when I am gone, and come home to a coral on the sand bed that shouldn't be. This used to happen to my candy cane a lot, but the tissue always regrew within no time at all.

my frogspawn destroyed my bubble pretty easily. as well as my button and monti's.
hairy mushrooms,, killed my green digita,
torch vs. frogspawn, pretty even and were both dying.
frogspawn destroyed my candy canes, i could go on forever!

anybody have experience with any of the following?

mushrooms vs. monti?
zoos vs. monti?
ricordea florida vs monti?

has anyone witnessed the phenomenon of excretion of a corals mesentaries to digest neighbor.

do you know what this is called?

wheres dr. ron?
