Had the electrician run a dedicated 20A line just under the tank with built in GFCI
Completed the waterchange, emergency drain system. Bulkhead in back corner of sump:
Runs through the wall
Into the laundry room behind the tank. It runs along the wall behind the washer and dryer into the cabinet of the laundry utility sink where the RO unit is housed
This sits across from the RO and Saltwater mixing vat. RO line runs under the floor and up to the vats.
Plan is to shut off the upper ball valve that goes to the barbed hose adaptor. Water will be siphoned off into a bucket with a line on it that runs to the bulkhead that empties out of the sump and into the house plumbing
Then, close the down ball valve and open the upper one. Connect hose from saltwater vat's Mag 18 and fill the sump with fresh SW. I'll do it remotely with a series of extensions and a powerstrip so I can watch the sump fill and turn the snapper back on in a time appropriate fashion.
Here's the underneath the floor plumbing. No, it isn't code and yes there is a gate valve to prevent backflow.
comin' at ya
where the sink, RO drain, FW and SW Vat's emergency overflow drain, and sump empty all together into one 1.5" drain
