I will always be envious of your tank, house, dogs, and I am sure there is more. Lol. Amazing work man. You have really nailed it.

The carpet tiles are too stiff to hide the cable and not have a weird bulge, so once I run the ATO water line alongside the power cable, I'll cover them both with something red to help hide it.

Can i come live with you? Maybe you can adopt me?

Great Pics, and house.

haha, you guys are funny. :D

Hey adddo... notice the IKEA chair and tables on the right. ;)

Yeah! hehe i see it now! I have a couple from that series also. Its the "LACK" huh? Or maybe the "EXPEDIT"?

I have the wallshelves, TV unit and a sofatable in the LACK series.. love the simplicity of that design. Unfortunately you have to be very careful not to make any hole in them, the smallest hole will swell and ruin them.. Good thing the price is decent on that series. i think we are on our third sofatable from the LACK series. :)

Well, anyway if im ever in the states i demand to get to sleep in your livingroom!
I can curl up in that little corner behind the tank!

Sorry for OT.

I've been crazy busy lately but finally got a chance to take a couple more pics.

My emerald crab from my old tank made the move to the cube and my serpent star from TBS came out to eat.

Very nice setup. The only thing I don't like is the power cord on the floor running along the bottom of the wall....Assuming you have access under the floor, can't you bring power directly up into the stand, through the floor? Not trying to be a pain, but the rest of the system is so damn cool it would be nice if you could hide that power cord.

Thanks guys!

map, I am still working on disguising the cord, but no... i do not have under-floor access. Concrete slabs here in houston. I just had to lift up all the FLOR tiles and send them back to FLOR because they were not perfectly square. One side was 1/16" longer than the other which creates a problem when you are laying them down in the criss cross pattern against a straight object. New ones are on the way. I tried running the cord under the rug but the tiles are pretty stiff and thin so it buldges. I will most likely cover it in something red. There was no way i was going to trench the floor. And most of the viewing is from the other side of the tank, making the wire not too much of an eyesore in person. :)

Also, i'll be running my ato line behind the baseboard molding from the other direction and entering the tank in the same spot. So the portion of wire that runs along the wall, I'll most likely stick behind the molding at the same time.
