December Frag Raffle (moved from November)

Alison - We'll look forward to meeting you then. Nothing to bring. Thank you. Unless you have some frags to donate. No requirement on that though. There will be more than enough to raffle. Really.

Just be ready to for converstaion. Our meetings should not really be called meetings. Maybe "talkings" is a better term. 'Cuz all we do is eat and talk reef. So if you've got good reefing stories to share, you might bring some of those.

Ok so it looks like Im not making this after all. My son is having more issues with his asthma and I have to watch over him. These past 2 months have really been tough on him with his asthma. We have been in the ER 3 times and the Dr's office countless times. This is getting old real fast!!

Sorry to hear that Mason. When I was younger I was in his shoes. Luckily I grew out of asthma altogether. Hope he feels better

My youngest also had it bad when young, grew out of it, and is strong like a bull now. So it can happen... wishing for the best.

Thanks guys, he is doing ok. He is just very worn out. Keeping the nebulizer handy though. Thanks for your kind words. I too had asthma as a child and grew out of it. So we are hoping for the best. Thanks again and sorry I couldn't make it today.

A thought occurred to me- perhaps we might want to discuss in the future people bringing gently used equipment or supplies to add to the raffle fun? Just a thought.

That's a great idea! I assume that I am not remotely unique in that I've got a ton of stuff that on one hand, is too old or worn (no box or instructions, etc.) to be easily sold online, but could easily be sold in person since they could inspect it. Anyone that's been in this hobby more than a couple years has got to be in the same position.
