Deep Down Florida 600 Gallon In-Wall Build

So I did exactly just that. I taped off a section to resemble my tank in the garage and laid out my rock in the position that I thought would be best. Cam out really good, then I had a friend (Stylo) who made a suggestion that I thought was a good idea.
He also said that it would be very difficult to line up the rock exactly how I had it on the garage floor.
He was right.
In any case, I have all the rock already in the tank now. I am just tweaking it to have the look I am going for.

Bill I did something similar. But I then drilled thru the rocks once I had them how I wanted and used fiberglass rods to peg them together.

This made it easier to reassemble the rocks in my tank. I was also able to make small ledges and caves doing this too.

Well I think I now have the look I was going for. It took a lot of trial and error but I got the trench look I was going for.
What you don't see is most of my old rock sitting in my sump to seed the new rock..

Thanks everyone, still finding myself making changes.
Jonnyu, I don't have a quarantine system in place just yet but I think that will be coming soon.

I would talk to dave, as he is really good with that. Since I have been treating all new arrivals with chloroquine no outbreaks in the display tank. I ended up taking all corals out of the main tank and treated the whole tank. Anything you can do to keep a outbreak from happening is well worth it.
