GUILLO1, from the third picture on your post. you might want to cover up the exposed wires where you solder it to the star. you want the sleeve of the wire to go all the way to the star to prevent shorting out. I would be afraid to leave it like that, just my opinion. it should look more like this

I have been using both the drivers and Leds. For just over a year.2 drivers are 1 year old and I have replaced 2 drivers. The leds are perfect. Love them.

This thread is like the holy grail of LED knowledge. Still trying to work out my total strings and such, but would ~85 White and 30 RB be sufficient for a 72 gal bow front? its 18"tall, 48 "wide.

I do not have coral yet, but I plan to work my way there.

Is there any agreement on xm-l gs xp-e ? Are most people happy with their xm-ls ?

I was at Jaes house and saw what the red leds can do and I must say that the Effect is striking. By adjusting their brightness he can fine tune the color perfectly. Any coral or fish with any orange ---red color just glows and with the fine tuning the color looks perfectly balanced I cant wait to get mine up and running.
