Do you have nice aquascaping? if so let's see it..

My tank at 1 year old.

has always been a nice tank! How's the Sfiligoi?

Are those rocks enough to take care of business? Just curious..

I have no idea to be honest. I think I am on the low side (especially I don't plan to have rocks or sands in the fuge) but I really like the openness for grow, flow and swimming room. I think this will make a pretty impressive display when acros grows up with damsels swimming / chasing each other among the branches. A coral patch is what I want to create:

I want to focus on the overall artistic of the tank whether than trying to jam lots of different corals which use up all the negative space (which I think is the key to a good looking tank). With less corals, I don't need lots of rock. :)

Just moved some rocks around...

Some newer pieces...

Strawberry shortcake...The light green body is not showing up in the pic :(

Hard to get true colours. This has deep blue tips. Supposed to be a GB. Body is starting to color up.

The problem is with no predators to keep those damsels in check... the stronger ones will widdle down the weaker ones until you only have a few left that can live together "peacefully". Would be really cool if it works. Good luck and keep us updated!

Yes that's certainly a possibility. I am very aware of this among anthias and chromis. Fortunately, the yellow tail damsels are among the less aggressive so there is hope. Hey, at least I have a vision right? :)

SICK! very original red..is that a 60 cube? can't wait to see what u have in store for this..did u use acrylic rods and then dremel to shape or did u just find it that way? either way, awesome start..

Thanks irieef!

I used fiberglass rods from the drive in the ground reflector markers I found at Home Depot. I cut them to the sizes I needed. I used a drill to make holes in the rock, filled the holes with epoxy, then inserted the rods. 2 of the spires are 5 pieces of rock and one is 6 pieces of rock.

I bought way more rock than I needed... it took me a couple of days to find pieces that worked the way I wanted them to. I dismantled 3 spires before it all came together.

you certainly know your stuff- and I like your choice of Damselfish. Got a link to a build thread?
