Looking good!
Thanks reefsafe.

I try to go no more than 100 ppm per day.
Thanks for the heads up aquaph8.

Brett, there are more threads out there that I have read about fighting bryopsis with Tech-M, here is one I found really quick this morning. I thought I remembered the number but wasn't sure. You didn't give Randy and Bertoni enough info about why you wanted to raise mag on your thread.

And I don't mean to sound like a critical S.A. if I do doh, just trying to pass on info.
Just to clear things up, I don't have Bryopsis in the tank. This is more for the Lyngbia issue more than anything. And if the Dinos were something other than Dinos, like a cyanophyte or variant.

here is the link where I was forwarding some information to Randy on the subject. Since then, several people seem to be in support of the thoughts initiated here and several new threads since then. My original thoughts on this were posted in the "finaly a solution to bryopsis" thread, I copied and pasted the original one in this newer thread for Randy's thoughts on the subject. Cliff jumps in a couple posts later further supporting the TechM impurity concentration as being the likely algea killer.

At most I raised the Mg 150 per day, but I also lost a bunch of my snails in the process.
Interesting you say it's potentially the impurity that kills off the algae. Just to make sure we are on the same page, I don't have a Bryopsis issue. Some found the Tech-M to be effective on Lyngbia. That's why I've been wanting to try it.
