In the future, it may be available in your local area.Beautiful looking false rock I think if I had access to some of that here in New York I would have probably gone that route.

One of the many thing I don't understand about this hobby. If you replace your live rock with fiberglass rock how will your tank's ecosystem deal with the NO2? Don't you need the anaerobic environment inside live rock to reduce this stuff to N2 + CO2? I thought live rock was the silver bullet of reef keeping.
Please do not take this any king of criticism, I just trying to understand because my rockwork skills s**k and this would be great option for me.
Looking forward to your progress.

Totally agree.Live rock will do a better job because of the porosity. The porosity gives it a lot more surface area for bacteria. There are products available that can make up for it like Sera Siporax.
There are 3 pieces. The total weight is around 100 kgs (220 lbs.),what's the total weight of the rock-work..?

Anup. Thanks a lot.Hi Chingchai,
Looks like a great start. I'm sure this will be such a huge learning curve for all of us. Using substitutes and leaving nature untouched will be the future of our hobby for sure. You are again leading the way and inspiring us all.
Wishing you all success
Without him, I don't think I can maintain my tank.Nice to know he is still their with you to take care of all your reefing issues and keep your interest alive in the hobby.
Two weeks in fresh water and six weeks in seawater. So how long will you treat the new "rock"? Are you adding anything to treat it? What's the process?
