Bought a trio of dwarf angels from LFS (potters, flame, eibli). All eating at the store. Progressively, over the last three weeks all three sequentially stopped eating, became lethargic and died. No observable external symptoms. Treated with a broad spectrum antibiotic without success. Any thoughts on what might have happened? I'd suspect collection problems (i.e. cyanide), but ostensibly two of them came from Hawaii and Vanatu where collection is generally done properly. I am mystified.

Did they become overly nervous, skittish and easily scared before dying (generally 1-2 days before dying)? I mean stuff like darting around the tank full speed for no apparent reason.
All the fish that I suspected died from cyanide poisoning acted that way before they died. Cyanide is a known neurotoxin. In humans symptoms of cyanide poisoning include hallucinations, confusion and bizarre behaviors.
