I don't know about all the claims this device carries either but i do believe this tube for lack of a better word may be a catalyst of sorts. Its too bad there isn't better information about what that environment actually allows to take place that doesn't without it.
It is true that the Earths magnetic field is getting weaker.
It is also true that when the magnetic field was stronger that corals and other sea life were much larger as demonstrated in the fosil record. Whether they are related or not who knows.
The atmosphere is alot different now then it was then too, it used to be alot richer in oxygen 2 fold richer.
There really are to many variables. Just for kicks I'm going to give it a shot on both a skimmer run system and without both will be bigger than a hundred gallons. I will try to record all those observations here. Maybe one of you with more time and brains can figure out what the results mean.

I'd be lieing if I said I was interested in your findings, as I just can't imagine there being any benefit in the slightest most remote way to anything related to the hobby, as many have indicated in this thread. I'd say regardless of price (other than free) there are better outlets for wasting your money. Sorry if I'm getting offensive by this point....
Your second paragraph is full of correlation = causation statements, which by definition of causation, are all false statements to make. You're definitely right in your statement of "There are too many variables" though, as there are so many variables that we still don't know about in our tanks, in nature, and in the world/universe in general, things that we can't even begin to imagine.
Though I've got no scientific evidence to back this up, similar to the amount of evidence for this argument, I would venture to bet most anything that the "possible" stronger magnetic field had nothing to do that directly effects the corals themselves, and if nothing else, then there is no way that inducing a small magnetic pull on water that passes through a filter could in any way mimic or have any relevance close to that of the earth's magnetic field, past or present. It just doesn't add up.
Either way, if you do end up purchasing the item and testing it out, I wish you luck, and thank you for sacrificing your dollars to expand the knowledge of our hobby.

I'm not so sure it's truly useless. It does seem to cause people to part with hard earned cash, in effect lightening ones wallet. Not sure if that's really a benefit to the poor aquarist parting with the cash, but it sure benefits the ecoaqualizer folk

It's simple really. The same reason so many snake oil dosing regimens and disease cures continue to exist. Promise people that something can perform all sorts of miracles, and you'll find enough people that want to believe that you can make a market.
