few new sps help id please

i picked up these 3 frags today for 20$ total the guy at the LFS was really nice and hooked it up im very happy with that.so i would just like some ids thanks.

ok is this a monticap? or an incrusting monti? its alittle bluish with pink color spread about.




i believe the pink sps on the right is a birdsnest but im not sure of the brown sps on the left. the small polyps glow green in the actinic lighting if that makes it easier to id.

The brown coral next to the birdsnest looks like a stylophora.

sorry i didnt see the id section, thanks . but is the monipora a monti cap or is it an encrusting monti ? thanks next time ill use the other section

and ur cap looks like the plating kind, but im no expert.

The Monti will have to wait until it starts to show a certain growth pattern. The "birdsnest" looks to me to be a Stylophora, not a Seriatopora, and the one next to it appears to be a Pocillopora.

i would like to glue the monti to the back wall is this a bad idea? here is a picture of my monti cap frag it dosnt have the ridges like the new one has so its throwing me off. i tried the superglue method with a piece of LR rubble and it jsut wont stick it falls off about 30 minutes later i gotta figure somthing else out. if i can lean it againts the glass will it eventually grow on the glass and stick better than the superglue by itself?

I've had Montipora digitata that has a branch up against the glass. When I moved it, I noticed a round patch of polyps growing on the glass. It's since spread, but is still growing flat against the glass and hasn't branched yet.

Gluing it directly to the glass will be difficult. However, you could glue it to a magnetic frag plug or a magfloat and then put it on the glass. It would eventually grow onto the glass, but would still be attached to whatever you glue it to. Another option, IF you have an overflow, is to glue it to this instead. The superglue seems to hold better to the plastic or acrylic, than it does to glass.
