Few random shots from the past week or so.

Sadly, nothing spectacular. Anyway, we have had some good snowfall here lately. I was up this am and looking at the birdfeeder for any action and saw some, just not from the creature I was expecting to see. He was on a different diet, and aganda than the birds, but he (or she) and their mom were quite welcome anyway. Then, I saw a snowshow hare!! Little sucker, was in the background, all out of focus while I was taking momma moose. I was on the phone and tried to autofocus on him. Since he was white, as was most of the background the lens just hunted, ugh. I ditched the phone to go to manual focus but just like in the magic shows he dissapeared in an instant. Oh well, something to look forward too I guess.

Those are some great pics I hope with some more practice I will be able to take shots like that. The one with fish is the best IMHO but the others are great to. What camera do you use.

kind of funny now looking at the images. Seems like I was the one behind bars, not wanting to bother them while they had the run of the place (lol). Just walking out on the deck with the snow squeaking was spooking the yearling.

I usually shoot with a 5D (orginal) but often get the chance to shoot the 1DsMk3. Yeah, that Dwarf Fuzzy Lion has had many of his images up on these boards. He just loves to pearch and pose on stuff right up in the front of the tank. Silly fish still thinks some unsuspecting pray may actually turn up in his captive environment (LOL). (he's eatting mysis really well right now. I'll give him some Ghost shrimp now and then just to keep his hunting skills sharp though ).

Very nice shots I actually havent seen a moose in 3-4 months, seems strange really.

I especially like the bird on the feeder shot, that one is excellent.

yeah, the lighting was beaming in from the side for the bird shot.

LOL, no moose? Man, I had one blocking the road this am trying to go to work!

Very nice Louis. I still love the moose. Most likely because I never see them.
