No I don't count on them 100%. The pic shows the sump about a 1/2 inch lower on water level than I normally run it. However when I do check them to see if they are working they are and have been for 7+ years.

Thanks, I wanted to see how you plumbed your tank. I just got my 120 plumbed using dursos and it is 100 times louder than my other tank, which uses basically the same setup, but the runs are a little longer. But, that's a subject for another thread.
