Bart...where did you move your calcium reactr & media reactors to? In previous pictures, they were next to the skimmer. You haven't added an addition to your garage have you?

where is the link to your webcams?
I have found with my tanks, that there is a break-in period after initial start up where I have experienced micro bubbles in all of my tanks. I think that happens until the plumbing breaks in and get a little slime in it. On my large tank, I had to dial back the return pumps a little, too much pressure. Placing the foam back in the sump would also help reduce your bubbles.Originally posted by cbui2
i am seeing microbubbles in the sump and making it back to main display. i believed its from the drip tray i used for main overflow, i might have to submerge the main overflow PVC 1" below water line to see if this help.

looks like you are still skimming sand residue out of the water column.

Those Deltecs are definitely nice for their small footprint and head room requirements, but they draw a bit more wattage than I think is necessary for whay they produce... but that is just my opinion. Of course they only draw a few more watts than other, larger skimmer, so that statement is really only relevant in California, the state of outrageous eletrical prices. But out here we try to make every watt count (3rd tier up to .36975 per KWH now, I think.. haven't looked at our bill in that much detail in some time now... too depressing ).
and 4 kids ?!?.., wow Bart, congrats on surviving long enough to set up this awesome reef tank
