IMO your off to poor start. a cleaner in a 29 has poor chance of survival. a perc is a damsel and will very likely be aggresive towards anything inside a 29g cube.

neon gobies are considered difficult, but i trained a few to eat prepared food so i dont see why anyone couldnt. you only need to feed live food for a while until it is weaned off it. i have never had a problem with them.
but as for fish i would get a pair of cardinals, but it depends on the tank, if its a fish only you could get a dwarf lion or something along those lines.

Neon gobies
(Gobiosma oceanops)are easy and readily take frozen foods. I have one in a 30 g breeder with a pair of black ocellaris and a bangai cardinal. They've been fine together for several years.
Cleaner wrasses:
labroddes dimidiatus( bluestreak cleaner wrasse ) difficult to feed and needs frequent feeding;
larabicus quadrillineatus( red sea cleaner wrasse ) blue black streaks in color, very difficult as sps polyps are their natural food.

looks to be a common 'cleaner' wrasse. DD recommends 50g or larger,multiple feedings,expert only etc. Reef central recommends leaving them in the ocean. my friend has one in a 180 that's eats prepared food and harasses other fish constantly. a single clown will most likely mature and become much more aggressive and territorial. a cube has the basic footprint of a 5gallon bucket. getting good flow or decent skimming will be a real challenge. add heavy feedings, and the reef will suffer. i'd lean heavilly towards a few nano sized fish that could be showcased in a small tank or do a clown pair.

Yeah it's a cleaner wrasse. . The goby has a v on the nose from a white stripe thorugh the eye. I've seen them both but was hoping for a goby for you so I think I saw what I wanted to see. and couldn't tell the size from the picture.Sorry, Good luck with it. If it's eating it may be ok but is rated difficult. I've never had one.
