As a newbie to this forum, I was just wondering: do members normally bring goods to sell to the meetings? or do people just post here and deal as responses are received? perhaps both... ?

There is an auction at the end of every meeting - the proceeds are split between the member and the club. Lately, we've had 60-70 items up for auction, mostly coral frags.
You'll also see posts on the board whenever someone wants to buy/sell/trade something. I've bought and sold in both ways.

Hello Everyone! My name is Billy and I will have a sponsors table at the upcoming meet. I was invited by my friend Chris to post a few photos of some of the items I plan on bringing down. I must say in advance, that I am planning on bringing these...if they are still available. Anyway, this is our first meet and we are really looking foward to meeting everyone!!
Here are some of the items we plan on bringing down. A couple of them are parent colonies to give you an idea of what they look like. I know a couple of pics are lacking in quality...sorry!

Also thanks for keeping the shipping rates livable for us locals.
On a sidenote, does anyone know how many sponsor tables are reserved so far?
I'll definitely be signing up for half a member's table tomorrow at the meeting when I pay my dues.

Its great that you are going to be at the swap I have looked on your site before but never ordered from it so this will be a great opportunity to meet you and perhaps do some business. I am interested in the acropora Soli, the Duncanopsammia (depending on price though), Rainbow Monti, and a frag of the deep water acro.

Yeah, Im pretty excited too. I finally get to meet so many people Ive only spoken to briefly online or over the phone. And I dont want to dissapoint anyone, but we only have 1 rainbow frag and 1 duncan (unless ORA can get another one to me by the meet). I generally hold onto corals for a few weeks before selling them too so I doubt I'll have anymore. I should have a few frags of the soli but they wont be as large as I had hoped. Should have tons of stuff though!

i got some red/green plate hydnophora's that i cna bring 1 to 2 inch frags of. also a few heads of calurastrea some acans ( red and grey) some favia ( green orange) some pom pom xenia.( lots of sizes) also some green tinted elongota xenia
plenty of zoos ranging fro orange to green with yellow
a few polyps of blue ricordia and depending on how it heals some multi colored rics
any one intrested in any of those . if so ill sell them to my friend to bring ( since i may not make it... i work sunyas)
oh also some ORA corals
