The nature of this hobby brings with it some sort of experimentation, it's the foundation of what keeps it moving along.
Do you think the first person that attempted to keep SW livestock in captivity had Reef Central and volumes of reference material at their fingertips? They didn't, yet they figured out how to do it, and here we are many years later.
Food for thought.....
agreed... with that said... now becuz we have internet and RC and whatnot, all of a sudden its not ok? It is ok, and not a big deal... how many of u all have put something in ur tank at some point and not completely understood its captive requirements? Most if not all of us... of course there will be the self righteous who will chime in and say "not me, not me", but that's 99.9% a load of crap... like previously mentioned, this hobby was built on experimentation and not knowledge... granted, now we have a ton of knowledge and I myself use it to my advantage and to the benefit of my animals, but come on, its not a.big deal... u don't have to rain on someone's parade jus cuz they are excited and decided to share here on RC, and u may not agree with it... U ALL HAVE KILLED SOMETHING IN YOUR TANKS REGARDLESS OF WHAT U SAY AND YOUR HUSBANDRY METHODS.... AND YOU KNOW IT... now admit it, and get off your tree hugging pedestals and share in the excitement the op had for their find, help them id and research now that the op has them and HELP OUT, rather than pass judgement or unneeded opinion, or take a walk away from the computer or phone...
And if ur gonna say ur done arguing here, plz do us all the favor of taking your sarcasm and nonsense comments elsewhere as well... like YOU said u would...
