freekin hot outside

didn't Buffalo smash the temp. record for Aug. 3rd yesterday?
To make matters worse, it's humid. People that say they like this weather are usually the ones sitting in AC most of the day.
Those that have to work in it outside usually have a different opinion.

And tomorrow afternoon the NWS is calling for high winds, hail, and rain.

So if you're going to get something accomplished in the yard this weekend you'd better choose wisely.
(Okay, if that's not a set up for someone I don't know what is!)

I just try to think of how miserable (cold, dark, etc) the weather is Dec though Mar to help me appreciate this weather.

The worst thing about training for a fall marathon is that you have to do it in the summer. I just ran 13 miles and that's pretty much the end of me for the day. I'll probably slug around the house for a couple of hours until I feel energized enough to do a water change.

My job in Ag research has me and my crew out in the elements, rain or shine, or in this case, blast furnace! I think one of our worst that I remember in the field was 1999, and 2005. The crazy part about this year is that we had so many 90+ days BEFORE July 1. The way I deal with it is thinking about the poor folk in the middle of the country who have been scalded by 100 F for weeks and no water for months. In perspective, it's not so bad. That being said, I'm holed up in my house today! :)

I've got a 4 pm outside wedding in naples today? What were they thinking? Hope it's not this hot next weekend. I've got the great race in auburn then.

See you tomorrow blockhead. What team are you with? I heard it is supposed to be nasty weather- wind, rain, hail, maybe a blizzard. Hope it holds off until late in the day.

I sure am (did)... Weggies is always chilled. Hence, why I like this weather. The thunderstorm was awesome today!!

PS, I'm at the Irondequoit (Hudson/Titus) store now... four stores in two years.
