From cube to super shallow circle

Here is a cool picture of some weird growths on the OT. And also had to frag the PM:facepalm: I removed my jebos because they need cleaning every 3 weeks and lose power. My mp40 can only run at 50 percent or the water will fly out. So I installed 2 tunze 6045 and they were starting to remove the flesh.

Have you tried the Jaebo RW series? I have not witnessed a dramatic power loss like with the WP series, haven't cleaned them yet. :) They will lose power but the WP's flow would be reduced to hardly anything after a month.

Sorry to hear about the summer troubles..
But man your tank is still looking spectacular.
Your corals continue to amaze me.

I got a new travel cooler for my corals so they travel safely and have a better climate controlled environment to their new homes. It holds 96 frags:idea:

Man that oregon tort is jaw dropping, fantastic tank and I love the cooler.

Thanks Josh, this coral inspires me everyday and keeps me from getting bored in the hobby. Growing it from a 1" frag by an amateur to this . Still blows me away. I measured it the other day at 19" x12" wide x 10" tall.

I have a 1" frag right now that I was able to pick up at a recent frag swap locally, very inspiring. It has such an amazing blue color to it and it's getting better and better everyday in my tank.

Is that a lokani? Would love to see an in tank photo of it under full spectrum lighting. Looks like a stunning colony. How long have you had it.

Here is one I picked up a year ago at coral con end of October 2014. Dragon slayer from Max at Bio reef. After moving it around to many locations. This spot is working out. Maybe it's the pretty grass growing around it.

Everything is simply awesome. So still ???

NO GAC
NO GFO
Some Chaeto
Just feeding fish ... lots
6 gallon weekly changes
LED on for 12 hours, Halide for ~ 6 hours?

:)

Thanks.

Is it illegal?I know you love hawkins. But I think you have it.

Trust me, if it weren't illegal, you'd have heard from me already!
Yeah, I bought a small Hawkins from a vendor in Toronto.. It has been a very slow grower for me so far and has not coloured up..
Curious to know your feeding, maintenance regimen as well..
I found lately I was having trouble with blue and found my k to be low..
You get such amazing blue pigments.. Do you test for k or add any?

Mark, I did put a small bag of chemi pure blue at the beginning of September and it is still in there. no GFO and I remove the chaeto about a year ago. I feed flakes and frozen food a few times a day. I don't use filter socks but I have a large serpent star and two fish that live in the sump. No changes in lighting schedule or water changes. I'm surprised my hands don't have scales or polyps coming out of them . They are in the tank all the time .

Matt, I think the blue pigments are nice because of the 10k reeflux. My Kh is 8.3 ca 440 MG 1320 I use dosing pumps and have kalkwasser in my auto top off.

I need some help please. I put a video on YouTube under conch62 . How can I post it here? It's been a year since my last.

Sorry I can't help you with the video, although I really want to see it!
Have you ever used radiums?
You really believe the reflux are giving you the colors you're getting? Interesting..
Kalkwasser... I may have to go back to that..
You say you use it in your top off.. How much does your top off doser add at each dose?

My top off tank is 12 gallons and is gravity fed. Last about a week . I do have a new radium with only 3 weeks on it. I used it when the 10k stopped working after only 4 months use. Most of the corals looked good . I like a more natural shallow reef look. The radium is nice and wish I could run them both. Don't have room.
