From cube to super shallow circle

This hobby will keep you on your toes:uhoh2: I have known for years that I have pistol shrimp and snapping shrimp and maybe a very small mantis shrimp living in the rock. Some thing is drilling through my rock coral and re landscaping my blue stag. I guess it's time to take some action :hammer:

Looking fantastic as always. Thanks for posting updates. I definitely see the advantage of having a frag tank. It's so nice and clean in the display now.

Are you experimenting with T5 colors over the frag tank?

Also, you motivated me to pick up Delbeek and Spring 1 & 2. They've been added to my already 2 shelf-filling collection of aquarium books. Most of the books have been pretty easy reads, but that first one feels like a classroom text book. In a good way! Gotta know the fundamentals to understand the higher level.

Happy belated one year tank anniversary!

YEAH. Just look at that beauty! Love seeing pictures of it.
I know you can't tell :lol2:but it is my favorite

Thank you! I love the clean look just didn't have a place to put all the extra corals. no problem with that now:artist:
Blue tort looks wonderfully stunning!
Thanks friend across the pond. maybe I should get an Instagram account see if anybody would follow the blue tort:)
AKA... the bullet proof frag tank :lmao:

The tank looks really nice with the opened up scape. It highlights the OT, which is still the best coral out there. Having a frag tank is very convenient for this. Good job!

Glad you like it, corals are looking nice and healthy. Even the 2 years a turd aka 30k lokani is coloring up. I will be going on a much needed vacation next week and hopefully everything will look this good when I return .

How about the whole colony:lolspin: First day away on vacation we get hit with the severe storm power is out for 12 hours . Lost one of my favorites :mad2:but still have back up pieces. It was in the display tank with the battery backup on everything in the frag tank was fine with no power.

My new pet snakey snake is much easier to take care of. My friend in Key West breeds these Eastern Pines snakes . I am going to set up the old circle for her

Wow I was just showing my wife how beautiful the Oregon tort colony looked and I scrolled down and was totally crushed. Absolutely beautiful tank though, I'm sure you will replace it with something equally as nice.

Everything and everyone will die:( The great thing about corals is you can frag them .
Man sorry you lost the lokani [emoji22]
No worries buddy the ones in the frag tank are fine.
Sorry about the sps dying. Snake looks pretty cool. My son would love to keep one.
So happy it was only one:beer: I was a snake freak when I was a kid and amazed at how many people still hate them.

Ouch!!! Good to hear you have back up pieces..
The back ups are looking pretty good. I ordered one reefbrite for the ati fixture from eBay they only had one:hmm4: . I can't get any good pictures of the frag tank with all the blue.:rolleye1:
