You really believe the reflux are giving you the colors you're getting? Interesting...

Matt read up old threads on Reeflux. These bulbs are amazing at popping those colours - especially blue pigments. Loads of arguments about these bulbs can be found in old threads :lol:

Yes I used them on my old 90. I ran 2 de hqi 150 watt.

Do it. I may get some radions pros after seeing top shelf aquatics tank. They are only running radions and it is amazing. Ten of them.

This is my all time favorite tank that I have owned. Having a shallow tank makes maintenance so easy. I hate shipping frags. I take a lot of stuff down to Orlando area.

Thanks Mike :beer: one day I will take pictures of the Oregon tort under all of my different lamps. XM 10k XM 20k radium 20k and everyone will see why I run the 10k reeflux . It's the only one that makes it solid blue. I have been asked for some very large pieces of OT. I was only willing to cut one section 6"×4"wide by 4"tall . And gave the I don't want to sell price I sure hope they don't except it.

I really love this tank! Have you ever measured PAR?

2 years later and I have some numbers :lol: My lamp is 2' above water and tank is 12" deep. At 6" from bottom within 15 inches from center I am getting 500 par , and closer to the center I'm getting six to seven hundred. My Jacksons rainbow is getting 600+ and this other tenuis just a few inches away about the same. Corals around tank wall are getting 300. In my cube tank I have a hydra26 2'above water and getting just 125 par but the few SPS I do have look great.

Well I guess it's time for a yearly update. I killed the Purple Monster except for 3 frags . The Oregon Tort has passed the 9yr. mark and I have moved over to the dark side. In Sept. I installed a Radion G4pro over my cube using the AB B+ schedule with ajustments on ramp. Colors look awesome so I got 2 more for the circle. I have a bunch of new frags so maybe I will post some pictures before 2018.
