Hold the phone, my fixture is running a little warm so I'm trying to rule things out.

To anyone reading this-

I was wondering if your fixture gets warm on the left side as opposed to the right side?

Also, do you know if for instance the right side fan is drawing air in and the left side fan is drawing are out?

My acrylic shield warped a little after running all 6 lamps and the reef brite at 100 percent for the day. But I didn't run the light prior without the modification so I'm trying to rule things out. I ran the reef brite for a few hours yesterday and it didn't get hot at all... but I didn't run it all day.

Not much to go off of mine yet as I'm still cycling my tank without lights on. But, I have owned corallife and current USA fixtures and I can tell you that the quality of material and level of craftsmanship with these giesemann fixtures is beyond compare.

Giesemann matrixx ii? I understand there is a blast per two bulbs. This might seem like a stupid question, but are the ballast normal t5 looking and where do you store them? I ask as I'm coming from having the huge radion led blast I had to deal with.

The ballasts are inside the fixture. Nothing but power cords coming out of the fixture.

One other question, when I replace the bulbs and pop the side molding, does the glass slide out the side also or can it come from the front of the matrixx ii?

It slides out of the side. You will need a T20 screw driver to remove the side plates.

got to agree with you they look top quality ,just like to know what area the 120 cm one will cover,tank is 56"x22"x30" front to back so hopeing to order one soon ,if this one can't do the job ,think ill be looking at the spectra,dru

I have a peninsula tank that has dimensions of 36"L x 24" wide x 21"h. I'm looking to run led lights. Would there fixture work on my tank ?

was told it was perfect for my size of tank from giesemann-uk so id say will be ok then again don't know what your tank looks like,ready to get mine ordered ,just wish there was more feed back about it,ideally would be better to see it in action before i make up my mind,dru

I'm looking at getting a 24" Spectra for my Reefer 170. How big is the unit? How many cords come out of the fixture to plug in?
