Water was getting kinda slimy after running the bio pellets with no skimmer for a few days. So I pulled the trigger and order the reef octopus xp 5000 ext. wish it would of shipped today but doesn't look like it did. Auto cleaning cup too.

Tank will be re- delivered December 9th

Picked up some cleaning crew on sale today at the LFS. 20 turbo snails, 2 brittle star fish, and 3 emerald crabs.

Tunze ATO installed.

Endless siphoning issue resolved, avoiding massive flood and dead fish! T with a line run to the ceiling to break the siphon solved that. Thank you skimmer for that solution after staring at u for like 30 minutes.

+1 for me on that catch.

Glass Cages called today and confirmed they will have it back to me on the 9th and to have my people ready!

My poor skimmer is starving for protiens needs more fish and corals!!!

Quick note: MP60 in a 75 gallon tank, wow moves tons of sand on lowest setting. The sand went from 1 inch to about 4 inches under it over night.

A Mag 9.5 with 4 feet of head. Estimate flow at 800 GPH or less which is right at the bottom of ROs recommendations.

Think they are going crazy cause I didn't put many in because the bio load is so light right now. Another thing I noticed is that one side goes a little more crazy while the other just kinda rolls over. Wander if it is designed like that?

1 slab I believe... Cabinets and Counter top where $6200. Think it broke down as cabinets $3800 and the counter tops $2400

They come Tuesday for the final measurements, so I'll know more then.

Just trying to get ready for the tank to come Sunday. Making as much RODI water as I can store up. Picked up 140 lbs of sand from Petsmart this weekend. It is that "live" sand in a bag stuff on sale for $1 a pound. Slowly adding it to the system to have it ready to go. Skimmer goes nuts after adding one cup. They also had 200 gallons of reef crystals for $45 and got 2 of them. Trying to have the plumbing done for the most part so the connections have plenty of time to dry.

QT system was halted when I was unable to find a 1.5 inch glass bit locally and had to order it from BRS. Apex comes Wednesday and bit comes Thursday.

Still need to get more electric run... Ya I know I said that weeks ago. But, waiting on the Apex to see exactly how many outlets I need when using it.

Sunday will be here before I know it. Good news today from the manufacturer, they are bringing the tank straight to my house this time, so one less chance for something to go wrong. Should get an exact time tomorrow and moving company says this just got way easier and they bought 4 glass suction cups for this move.

Didn't realize the modules didn't come with probes. $599 for the oxygen one.... Do I really need that??
