Yeah, what Sanjay said! Whatever you do, do not put in pairs! At least my experience has been that one is good and 3+ is good, but 2 of a kind seem to create a territorial conflict.

How is the new tank coming? I hope well!!

I thought about putting multiples of a single tang in the tank, but then that would limit me on the other types of tangs in the tank because of the limit on the number of tangs. Unfortunitly, I like a lot of different types of tangs, so it would be hard for me to just limit to a few type. I might add more yellow or purples to the tank down the line once I see how much room I really have after adding the tangs that I want..

LOL, Ya the fish think they are going to be fed. I plan on putting up black felt on the sides to prevent them from thinking that every time I walk in the fish room they will be fed.

WOW! I didn't realize that at 1000 gallons, your tank is extremely long. Definately lots of space for your tangs to swim around.

Can't wait to see corals in the tank.

I don't think I saw this on your tang list, but will there be an achilles tang?

...that's awesome bstone..and that fishroom looks neat and well thought out. What's the dimensions of the fish room. It looks like you have a pretty decent amount of room to work. I'm building my house and trying to decide what type of space I need for a fish room. Unfortunately my tank won't be as big in this house, but still need the room nevertheless. Knowing what your dimensions are would help out a lot.

Yes. I have an achilles on my list. In fact I have one in my sump right now, he's about 6" long!
