This has been one of my favorite build threads to follow, it is really finishing up to be an awesome tank!

Bstone:

I like the doors you have on the front. Are they hinged? I was trying to come up with ideas similar to this for my new tank design so that I could access the tank from the front if need be.

Yep they are hinged. They are very large cabnet doors w/ hinges just like you would have in your kitchen.

So that is one single door ? did you buy it off the shelf or custom built ?

What hinges did you end up using on them. ?

I am trying to do something similar.. but making the door out of oak plywood.

sanjay.

It is actually 3 doors. I ordered them from Lowe's. The hinges came with the door. They are the kind that are used in kitchens, where the hinge is recest in the wood so that you don't see it fro the front.

oh and btw your lr looks really nice...some of the best i think i have ever seen.

THANKS! I worked real hard to acheive that design. I wantd an open look, so NO rock pilled-up along the back!!! Its all open all around the tank, with lots of swimming room but with still lots of places to put coral!

:) :)

How long have you had the anemone?
Has it ever gone walking?
Is it attached to the rock or is it footed in the sand?
