Windows has a slide show feature that I use as my screen saver and it is full of edr42's pictures. Thanks a bunch. I have come back to my desk and seen people just looking at my screen admiring the pictures.

it could do a slideshow for the screensaver or for the desktop?

You can find the slide show screen saver under: Start/Control Panel/Display/Screen Saver/My Pictures Slideshow. I have lots of other reef/aquarium pictures I have collected over the years, but there is plenty from edr42. That's at work, at home I use the Sach's Marine Aquarium 2. Really nice graphics.

Thanks guys!

vbsaltydog; i do have full resolution images, the G9 has a 12.1MP imaging resolution, and i shoot all my images in RAW. The files are all about 20mb each and are A3 when viewed at actual size. The highly compressed images you see here are not a patch on the actual full resolution shots.

dvmsn; i'm sure i have a heap of reef scape images with patch reefs and bommies. I'll try and put together a collection of images that can be used to model reef tank rock work.

LJA: its pretty cheap to get to Aus now :) , I think Virgin are going to be flying a US / Aus Route in a few months, which will send the prices tumbling down. Methinks this is a perfect time for a holiday ;)

AgentSPS; i never knew those clams were so highly prized, i would have seen hundreds of them out on the reefs. I'll try to get some more shots of them next time i'm out there, nowdays i mostly just cruise over them and not really bother to take a photo unless its a particularly photogenic specimen.

I would be very interested in downloading the high res images if you were able to put them on an ftp server. I think they would make some nice framed photos for around the house (not for resale of course). You can PM me if you can provide ftp access to high res images if you don't want to make them public. If you can't provide access to the raw images, they are still great photos and thanks for posting.

What is the best place, in your opinion, to fly into/dive the GBR taking into account water temps, clarity, and reef density? This would be for snorkeling vs. diving so please consider depth to the reef as well.

Thanks
