Hey guys, according to the poll, and the ReefKeeping webpage, this is the Thread Of The Month for June.

However, the link for TOTM however goes to a thread on "Coral Maternity in Portugal" which is a little confusing. Can any of the mods shed some light on this mystery?
Anyway, thanks for all your support! I was out at a new spot on Monday doing an Open Water Course, so there will be photos up soon.
Also, i went out and picked up my new tank last week! 5.5ft long by 2.5ft wide, by 18inches tall, i'll post the odd photo of the tank as it takes shape.
Next reef trip on the 21st and 22nd, so stay tuned for some more photos!

Congratulations on your thread award! Highly deserved. I read the entire thing today, and it was quite intriguing. Your camera upgrade seems to be really great. I think that you should really look into an outlet for selling some of your photographs, as a way to defray costs on such a great hobby. Keep up the amazing work, and thanks for sharing with everyone.

Coral C's: i'm using a Canon Powershot G9 in a canon housing with an Inon D2000S strobe and arm system.
Maika'i: Box Jellies are seasonal and inshore creatures, they are actually strong swimmers and lead active lives hunting in the mangroves and inshore waters. They do not go out as far as the reefs though, and are only active in the summer months.

I've got another 3 trips worth of photos on my computer being processed, and i'll be out on the island thursday, saturday and sunday, so stay tuned.
Instructor Development Course starts in 2 weeks now, so soon!

CTS, are you heading to Cancun or Cozomel?
I'm lucky enough to live near the Great Barrier Reef (off the lower tip actually..) Our local beachs have got corals and reef fish developing homes now too so you can actually snorkle off the coast (less then 20 mts off the beach) It is amazing
