Awesome, just read & viewed this thread. Absolutely stunning photos you took! You are very lucky to have this experience in one of the world's greatest sights to behold (GBR).

Amazing photos. Makes me feel sorry for my clarkii clownfish. All those beautiful anemones and reef and all he has here to snuggle up in are some mushroom anemones. Thanks.

Hi edr42. It has been since October 28th since your last post. That is 76 days I beleive, the longest stretch ever without hearing from you. I hope all is well with you. If possible, can you chime in and just let us know what your future plans are for posting in this thread, and if there has been any mishap that is keeping you away. Your devoted following awaits your reply.

Hey guys, sorry ive been absent for so long, ive just been rather busy with work.

Im now working at the ReefHQ aquarium in townsville working on and in the tanks. Im diving in the largest living coral reef tank in the world, and doing the shark shows in the predator tank.
Thats only a few days a week though, so the other days im out doing SCUBA instruction on the GBR and at the Yongala wreck.

Im hoping to have a new batch of photos up very soon, so stay tuned. These will include some rather juicy ones from the aquarium that im sure will be of great interest to everyone here!

Awesome news, that must be very exciting. Glad to have you back.

Just to let you know the different worlds we live in it is -13°C, -22°C with the wind, or 8°F, -8°F with the wind here in Ottawa, Canada. Nobody is doing any diving around here. :eek2: Boy do I wish I was anywhere else right now.

He he, im currently in 26C - 35C temperatures every day, and we have 29C degree water to dive in.
Been diving in boardshorts only on the reef for a few months now.

Well, its about that time again.

Ive got a few shots from the aquarium at work today, but theres a cyclone closing in so theres no diving for a bit.

(BTW please excuse the spelling, my apostrophe and colon key have gone awol from my keyboard)

Ill post a steady stream of little tidbits from the aquarium and surrounds over the next few weeks.
Hope you enjoy!
