I never even noticed the tree upside down! Mustn't have been anything spectacular.
That is indeed a wrasse in the last photo. It was about 40-50cm long, and quite thick. It is pretty amazing to see those colours through the water surface, they all caome to the beach and get fed bread twice a day.

If anyone ever has the chance to visit Lord Howe, i very strongly recommend you go! It's the southern most reef in the world, and has a unique biotope and mix of species.

The whole thing with people being afraid of the ocean or never going swimming is so strange to me. I practically grew up underwater, it's my second home down there.
