Posted pics on here at the 2 year mark, which seems to be a benchmark for some that cannot get to survive. I wish i could tell you my secret, but there is none? I quit direct feeding it almost a year ago, and its looking good as ever? Low to medium flow and higher nutrients seem to help?

i had a green goni doing great for 6 month, my red goni died in 2, but same tank both kept around the same location in tank . no idea why one is growing and one died

Update, green goni coming up on 4 years soon and growing and healthy! Almost touches my 55 from front to back.

Thats a great looking piece there. Im glad someone has success with them. Ive never been able to keep them alive. Iv gotta frag or ORA red right now Im trying and it seems a bit more hardy . Only time will tell though!

Fantastic!

I've had crazy experiences, both reef tank and gardening, where there is just something about the environment that some things love and others hate--the result being that occasionally an "easy" specimen kicks the bucket while a "difficult" specimen flourishes.

For me it's about 50/50--skill/luck. Your tank looks good so you're probably much more skilled or much luckier than me.
