guess at worm id

I dont have a pic of the thing in question....

i have what looks like a caterpillar in one of my peices of LR.

its red with 2 rows of hair clusters.

its about 1 mm across and can stretch about an inch, seems to live in a hole that it dosnt come all the way out of.

any ideas?

none of the bristle worm pics i find really look like it, but with thousands of worms to go thru , i guess i should have just defaulted to it..
