Wonder if you guys could help me please. I have had my gorgeous Crispa for about 7 months. It has always gripped onto a rock with its foot and been fine. This last week though,it cant grip on the rocks properley and wont stick to the rocks. I have tried laying a coral gravel bed for it and burying its foot this worked but it seems to be gradually coming up through the gravel.

apart from this problem,it still looks really healthy.

what do you think is wrong with it?

All parameters are good.

No3 is <5
ph 7.9-8.2
ca 440
alk 3.5
mg 1300
sg 1.025

lighting is 250 watt halides with 4 t5's.

It has been fine for 7 months now it wont keep hold of the rock or gravel/sand.

The only thing I have changed recentley is dosing vodka, only a small amount 6 ml a day in a 600 litre tank. I think it started this before i started dosing vodka anyway. only been dsoing vodka 7 days now.

Apart from not gripping the nem looks great, fully inflated and great colour.

Any help would be great please guys.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but what I would do is to be very consistent with 25% weekly water changes using RO/DI, a good brand of salt like IO or RC, at 1.026, temp. around 80F until the anemone fastens down again. Have there been any changes in the water flow?
