Halichoeres chrysus "Yellow Coris" is a similar species which lacks the white belly.
yes- I have several smaller fishes and critters in my aquarium one might never see.
This is timely for me. I was just on Liveaquaria last week looking for smaller critters. The tangs draw em in but once their nose is on the glass its nice to have other little guys for people to find and marvel at.

eats typical Halichoeres fare: small meaty foods, pods, etc.What does it eat, and how well does it get along with the other fish?
dives into sand and it eats small bristleworms (Polychaetes), small snails (Stomatella), pods etc. -all which are invertebratesdoes it go to sleep by diving into the sand like other wrasses?
does it bother inverts?
