Help deciding which power strip

I'm going to order 1 or 2 power controllers and have 2 to choose from.

I have found threads where people have used the American DJ PC-100a Power strip. I have also found a thread that a used the Chauvet PC-08/9. Both control 8 grounded plugs and have individual lighted switches, but Chauvet is 30% cheaper ($20 vs $30). Any reason I should not buy the Chauvet instead of the American DJ?

Here is the American DJ. This has a 15A/1800 watt capacity.

Here is the Chauvet. This has a 15A/1650 watt capacity.

PS, Free shipping on orders over $200 if anyone wants to piggy back on my order. We would need 10 power strips ordered (or other merch from them).

Thanks in advance.

I used to be a DJ, and I would go with the american dj. More watt capacity, and higher grade wiring, parts. We used some Chauvet parts once and were thoroughly disappointed.

Probably wouldn't be a fire hazard because of the breaker, but you may come home to everything turned off due to overheating and weak parts. All in all, you get what you pay for with this one.

KMP told me about the DJ. I have it setup on my 90 Gal Oceanic. It's a must IMHO. I love it. Thinking about buying another one for the other side of the stand.

mounted mine up w/in the "electrical shelf" this past weekend. neat part about these strips - hook the pumps to it and when you want to feed - click, click, click - feed away.
