After much deliberation I am confidant in saying that my montipora is M. saudii

It looks like it could be. Montipora saudii only comes from the Red Sea, so it is unusual to have that species. http://coral.aims.gov.au/speciesPages/species_metadata/0840/view#
It is too small that i wouldn't be confident or certain about that ID. IMO at best i would add cf. to the species name "Montopora cf. saudii" to represent confer, or "close to".

Well I had a case of RTN and lost all but 1 colony. I took the liberty of examining it more closely

The ID may change once I get my hands on a microscope but it sure looks a hell of a lot like M saudii
