Looking great T. Just like we knew it would. After all the install, the waiting is the hardest part for our little "juniors" to grow in! I think I need to come over and help you prune!

Wow your really getting some great growth and color!
When the corals grow out it is going to look INSANE!
But i did want to know because i skimmed through the thread again and didnt find anything about this but how do you keep everything calc, alk exc.... in check? Do you dose i havent noticed any calcium reactors in the pics so i dont think you have one or do you do alot of water changes?
If i missed it then oops sorry

Thanks to all!

Mike- I will bet you have some corals that I would like to swap some frags for! Perhaps we should discuss that?

Jim- I typically change 150 gallons per month, which is almost 30%. I do supplement using BRS 2 part plus Mg. - but not regularly, just when testing shows it is is low in any of the peramters.
I am also using Brightwells' Zeolith stones, and some of their trace elements. I have 3 calcium reactors, but have been a bit busy, and have not set one up yet. Do intend to tho.

I drove to Atlanta (Alpharetta) today to visit with Jorge Medina at Pure Reef. What an incredible store! And.....I came home with 3 nice pieces. Will try to post pics tomorrow!
Thanks for tuning in-
T

Yep - i need to have a frag party, and sucker a bunch of guys over here to help me get that thing mounted and functioanl - for sure.

(Sound of T putting "nose to the grindstone, and shoulder to the wheel"):hmm5::beer:

Beem distracted by the pond this summer:

That pond area is so sweet... don't think I could go inside and care for the reef with something like that!

Thanks Austin - love that bandit in your avatar! Summer here is full of cookouts, and "wine tastings"...for the girls... and "beer tastings" for most of the guys:)

Here are cople of evening shots before I got the rock work on the base of the columns.
BTW - the black rectangles in the columns you see in some of the first pics are the stereo speakers. Makes for some nice relaxing fun. Occasionally i get in and "swim with the fishes" - just not Jimmy Hoffa style!:spin3:

The fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows, or other snacks.

Thanks Pylon! I am near Brevard - so if you are ever in he Asheville area - give me a heads up, come by and talk fish!

Thanks! It has been a fun project to design and build the hose and all the stuff around it.
It took 130 dynamite blast holes to create a place to put the basement/foundation for the house. Gotta have a pump room after all!
