How to help a newly introduced, temperature shocked anemone?

I got my anemone on the 26th. I found out today that my aquarium heater wasn't working reliably, so it's been going a couple nights (not every night, thankfully) with water that was 65° F at times. Its mouth is open, which I know is a sign of extreme stress.

I already replaced the heater. Is there anything I can do to help the anemone recover? Since it was already weak from being newly introduced, I'm worried it'll die. Is there any hope of recovery?

I got mine on the 27th... she is currently hiding at the bottom of the tank.. behind all the rockwork.. in the dark..all lonely.. pesky nems..

I don't know how it will do.. hopefully it will pull through... I've heard alot say that they are pretty hardy creatures.. and others say they are fragile...

I hope the best... just keep an eye on it. See what it does..prolly all you can do at this point I think... but I'm FAR from knowledge able... so hopefully someone chimes in with good news

My chiller locked up a couple of weeks back and over night my tank went down below 60F. The tanks had puddles of water on the tile floor due to the condensation literally running off the tank glass!

I have 15 smaller RBTA's, 3 big rock flower anemones, 10 very tiny baby rock flower anemones and 4 maxi-mini anemones and they all survived the cold along with all my zoas. However, I lost all 3 leathers and 90% or more of the 50+ species of sps corals.

So IMHO, leave your anemone alone and it will probably be OK. Just give it time. My RBTA's didn't open for a couple of days... probably due to all the crap in the tank with the dying sps corals.

Nem should be fine in time, I would suggest having 2 heaters both a little more than half watts needed, this way a failure will make a slower change and maybe give you time to notice, and having a controller is a good idea here as well.

I touch my tank glass when I pass it (it's in a place where this is convenient) and if it feels wrong, I check the thermometer. Developed that habit after a similar incident years ago.

Yeah I have a digital display right where I add top off water, so I don't go more than a few days w/out seeing temp.
