fwiw I've been told to get "true" peppermints be sure they are from the Caribbean.

Try some hot sauce, Im sure it's the vinegar and acids in that that would be what makes it work.

I have heard of "hot sauce" used as a cure for ich, (irritates skin of the the fish causing slime coat to over produce slime shedding the ich off w/ the excess slime.) but not for killing anemones, try it though what do ya have to loose. Bleach or battery acid should work also. Make sure you taste it first to make sure the concentration is strong enough though.
Oh yea I was kidding on the last part.

And to the yellow polyp/green star polyps, they are satin spawn to be treated like aptasia IMO. THE FRIGGIN THINGS WON'T DIE. Amy can vouch for me on this one!

I am testing that also
I just got done making more "extermination solutions" I have just tested : Black water- the black watery stuff you get when you activate your carbon( to make sure the results are not from fresh water poisoning i activated the carbon in saltwater) Soy Sauce, crushed Jalapinos with saltwater, a penny (copper), and melafix (an antibacterial fish remedy). In the soysauce cup i have seen a couple of microstars and fireworms that have died, so that sounds promicing. Atm i am waiting on test results. I should know by this time tomorrow.

From what I have seen, Im convinced with enough raw materials and time he could find the answer to permanent eradication of the pests. I can't explain much more than that, but on this subject Im not laughing anymore.

Its an animal, any animal has grown to exist in certin parameters if any off these go to an extreem either up or down it will die.
Like Matt said anything high or low in ph ok as coralreefer said lighter thats temp up and down. Anything that kills this should in large enough amount kill the whole reef
