I don't think I will make it

They look to be the exact same size. Your current one seems to want to establish dominance. I would probably exchange the new one but that is just me.

My female Occ acted like yours when I tried to introduce a flame angel. I used a Lee's floating container and my female was all over it the first day. The second day she ignored the floater but on the third day when i released the flame angel, my female ripped it apart.

Also are you expecting that they will start to mate right away? I purchased my occs as a wild caught pair (notice I did not state MATED pair) and it took them over a year before they started mating. I would be looking for acceptance at this time above all else. Mating will come when it comes but the female will need to accept a male first. The new one being the same size as the first one either suggests that both are females or that neither has sexually matured yet. Being at only 1.5" for a Maroon I am thinking the latter to be more likely.

LOL the video is mis-titled. It isn't Maroon clownfish MATING - it's maroon clownfish FIGHTING. You release that one from the breeder box and you are going to have a battle.

Exactly, and it won't take long for them to have each other's fins in shambles. Just exchange it for a smaller gold stripe.
