Im still reading everything and im on page seven but i just wanted to let everyone know that petorama sucks and if your going to order a das pump for your 100....get it from somewhere else.

They dont care the pumps themselves and DAS actually ships them.

I didnt get a tracking number(im sure none of you guys did either cause i read some people had that problem). I emailed petorama a couple of times with no reply. I then started calling them and they were no help and they directed me to DAS. I have called DAS for the last 5 days and leaving them SEVERAL messages each day with absolutley no response.

Yesterday i called petorama and spoke with the manager who told me DAS was closed for the day and he would call them first thing in the morning and call me right away. I never got a call back so i started calling petorama again. After about 15 minutes they called me back and said my pump is still sitting in the warehouse.

I dont know what they had to do to find out my pump was sitting in the warehouse still but it took them 15 minutes and i have been waiting 2 weeks. After all this time it makes me furious that it took them 15 minutes to find out what the problem was and wasted my time everyday with me calling them and DAS when they could have done whatever it is they did today, 2 weeks ago when.

So i recommend waiting for they tunze or looking elsewhere for the DAS pump.

Here is my new skimmers running like a champ
100 with a used sedra ksp-3500
pic after 16 Hours running
at 6 1/2 water label
90 gal reef tank w/ 10 gal sump

Some micro bubbles but by the time it goes thru the bio-balls and get to the pump they are gone so no bubbles make it to the display tank

my new I-TECH cone skimmer 100 runung w AB pump only 12-13 days new
this is worth 3 day of skimate.

Can you give specs on your setup? Bio load, do you dose a carbon source, sump depth, and water/bubble line height within the skimmer? That's definitely some nasty nog in those photos.

25 gal cusstum made sump w/ two filter sacks
lots of mushrooms,zoes,green carpet, 5 montiporas small, few shimp, 11 mediumfish
i dose alk and cal
i use carbon inside of one of the filter sacks

the nog is dark,nasty and stinky
and is only getting worse by the day as the skiimer brakes

i got mine fast and easy i ordert it a sat and get it the very nex trhusday buy i pay for twoday shiping
