if money wasnt an issue, what is the one fish you would get?

If price really was not an issue, including price of a tank, then I would want a giant manta ray.

In 2007 I happened to be piloting the boat in Oahu that caught the first personatus in at least ten years to be offered in the trade that was caught in the main Hawaiian Islands... the fish wholesaled for 5K. You could read the story linked below, although the photos are no longer available... in the last five years there have been single digit numbers of these available to the world... this is a very rare fish in the Main Hawaiian Islands... even at depth. You could smack 50K on the table at your LFS and you'd not be able to get one of these most likely for a while... it takes connections, patience, and dinero! The 5K to 12K price your LFS gave you would be his cost, if he could even get it. These fish typically first get offered to the guys that pay the collector's bills buying the commons!

I visited this fish in 2009 at its home in Kyoto Japan and it was thriving...
