I hoped this worked. Never uploaded a picture here. My wife says it's a junkyard of coral. I sort of agree. I'm not the greatest aquascaper.

hey guys..im new to this whole hobby..i have a 37tall tank with an anenome some snails and 3 corals.. one is a candycane coral and one is a green pollup tree or something like that. and the other is a soft tree like plant i havent been able to find the name of it yet.. but i know its not xenia this one looks kinda like a xenia but brown and green and the flowers dont grip and ungrip..trying to find out the name of this plant...been reading alot in this forum for the past week or so...my tank is about 2 months old now..any advice would be appreciated also like recommendations on other plants animals to get in my tank...thats my favorite:spin1:

Now you have really tweaked my interest but the images are too small at least for these old eyes.
Its better to join www.photobucket.com and upload your pictures there. You will be given 4 codes under each picture. Copy and paste the 'img" code into your posts on reef central

if you can post a picture it will be easier to identify---from your description my guess would be kenya tree

What up what up! I'm a 19 year old college kid who has a 10g saltwater right now...that is a royal pain in my butt. I just bought a big ol' sheet of acrylic that will become a shallow 40g Ten thousand islands biotope. Can't wait for the sheet to get to my door for construction!

The name is Dooner. I did a 105g built-in wall aquarium (freshwater) for my wife about 10y ago. It was nice watching the fish. It helped me with keeping me calm and keeping my bloodpressure steady.
About a month ago, it sprang a leak, and my wife decided she wanted to go larger. So she found the aquarium she wanted (Aquavim 170g Bowfront), and I am in the process of putting it in place of the old one.
We also decided to go with fish only saltwater. I think they are more calming than freshwater fish.
So far, it looks like I will be learning a lot from this forum. Thanks for letting me join this fine group.

10 years ago I bought a lab to keep my blood pressure down---then I got into the reef keeping hobby----it did't work:eek1:

hi everyone, I'm new to the site and its nice to see so many people out there interested in reef aquariums. I consider myself a beginner at this hobby, I did have a tank set up a few years ago but made many mistakes with my first tank. Since then I have done loads of research, and am ready to set my tank up again and do it right this time, instead of rushing the tank.

Hi all: say hello to my 14g biocube nano reef
Hi all, just joined. I've been reading for months and love the community and advice.
I had 29g saltwater fish-only tank about 12 years ago and even worked at a LFS while in high school. I'm so glad i'm back in the hobby. Enjoying my new 14g Biocube. It has been running about 6 months now, and I have had very few problems. No fish losses and it was a quick cycle with some nice live rock.

Now (from above)
I am slowly adding easy corals, and learning along the way. I recently had to return an aggressive flamehawk who was going after a new Randall's Goby. I luckily was able to exchange for a smaller one, and now everyone gets along.
Here are a few pics from my Flickr gallery. these are all top down shots. I'll share more info soon on the other fish, corals and inverts. Thanks and nice to meet you!
