I'm having big fun now...390 display +

I think I'll make it to the meeting :-) I just uploaded the last pics to my computer this morning. Have to resize them all and post.

I just finished migrating the last pieces from my old tank to the new last night.

I picked up the Euroreef you recommended, that skimmer is awesome! Also a couple Tunze Nanos, all at FaOIS. The prices at FaOIS are better than online! Dropped like $600 in two trips LOL! I'm fortunate that my wife enjoys the tank as much as I do ;-)

I knew that you would like the Euroreef. I originally thought about 2 of them for mine, just didn't have the room.
John competes well with the online vendors on dry goods. He beats their prices on fish and corals, and definitely beats their quality.

I Love the Euroreef. I will make it to Joe's Saturday, I still have that beatiful zoa rock I bought from him, still looks awesome.

Only plans on Saturday is to pick up some snails from FaOIS. I have hundreds of Collonista snails that keep the rocks clean, however they don't like the sand bed lol. So have to pick up some snails to keep the sand bed mixed up.

Go to the skyway as the tide is going out and pick up all you want. Nassarius snails live in the sand and come up for food.

Mike, good to see ya again! Yea I picked up some early Saturday before the club meeting. BTW, I know you have more information ... stop holding out, and update hehehehe ;-) More pics!

Not much new. I drained the fresh water out Saturday am. One of the Dart pumps has a problem, and Sequence is replacing it. They're a great company. Next step is sand and aquascaping. The sand and rock are dry, and the rock will be cemented together in the tank.
That project is on hold. Saturday am, I started getting pains in my left hip and leg, and at 5am this morning I was in the hospital. The initial diagnosis is a pinched sciatic nerve. MRI tomorrow, so I should know more then.

ouch, I took my girlfriend toi the hospital Saturday before coming to the meeting for the same thing, she is on Vicodon (hydrocontizone) now and finally able to hobble, very painful!

MRI had problems today. Rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon. The doctor today took me out of work for 3 weeks. Vacation trip to South Carolina in June appears to be cancelled. I'll just have to hold off on the reef until I'm back in the saddle.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

We will postpone the Board meeting until you are better off.

this will Give Angela a little tie to settle into the new job too.

Mike - did you have sciatic problems when you biked long ago? Seems like I always was battling that from either biking or running. Now you get it from reefing - not fair! Hope it gets better, which it will with good rest and some good drugs.

with half a dozen people on the board, if we start postponing baord meetings now because of one director or another, we will never get some of the issues needed to form an organizational structure for the club resolved-

BTW, girlfriend is back at work after one day (despite Dr's orders)!

I agree with Colin, the board should meet and keep things rolling. I'm happy for your girlfriend. I'm not concerned as much about doctors orders as much as the fact that I can't walk. Yesterday was the first day in my Ford career that I missed work for injury or sickness. If I could be there I would.

Carol, now that I know the symptoms, I would say that I've been dealing with it for about 10 years, just never bothered me enough to do anything about it.

Sorry to hear about the pain Mike, must be something in the air lately, we had two sciatic patients last week, which is really rather rare for us to run on any. Listen to the docs and dont be a hero, let it rest and take it easy, hope you have a speedy recovery!

WoW sorry to hear that you have a great thing going.

Rest and relaxation and follow doctors orders most of us do not.

Here's hoping you get better soon.

Can't believe I'm just now getting on this thread!!! Your tank is incredible!!!!

I'm sorry about the hip and leg. Don't do anthing before you're really ready because it suxs to take care of yourself only 80% of the recommended time, and suddenly hurt yourself and be back to square 1 !!!
